Terms of Use
In short: you upload photos you have the right to use, we turn them into a video using artificial intelligence, you pay once, and if you weren't happy, you have 30 days to ask for a refund. The full terms appear below, and they are what governs.
This is an English translation of the Hebrew terms of use. If there is any conflict or difference between the versions, the Hebrew version prevails.
1. Who we are
The LifetimeReel service at lifetimereel.com (the "Service") is operated by Alpha M.F. Ltd (Alpha MF), company no. 517088423 (the "Company", "we" or "us"). You can reach us by email at hello@lifetimereel.com or on WhatsApp.
By using the Service you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree to them, please don't use the Service. These terms are addressed to all genders equally.
2. The Service
The Service lets you upload photos and turn them into a video using artificial intelligence tools, in one of two styles: animated photos (each photo becomes a short clip) and a growing-up video (a continuous transition between photos of the same person at different ages). You can add an opening title, music, captions and a dedication to the video, and download it as an MP4 file.
Features marked "Coming soon" are not part of the Service until they actually launch, and are not included in a purchase unless explicitly stated otherwise.
3. Your account
- You sign in to the Service with a one-time code sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping access to your mailbox secure.
- The Service is intended for people aged 18 and over. A user under 18 may use the Service only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
- You must provide a correct email address that belongs to you.
4. The photos you upload
By uploading photos to the Service, you represent and undertake that:
- You own the rights to the photos, or have permission from the rights holders, to use them to create the video.
- You have obtained the consent of the people who appear in the photos, where such consent is required, or you have reasonable grounds to believe they agree to the personal and family use of the video.
- For photos of minors: you are the minor's parent or guardian, or you have obtained their consent to upload the photos and create the video.
- For photos of a person who has passed away: you are a family member or are acting with the family's consent.
- The photos do not contain illegal content, nudity, sexual content, or offensive or degrading content, and are not intended to mislead, to impersonate another person or to harm anyone.
The rights to your photos remain yours. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to store and process the photos solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you, including passing them to subcontractors as described in the privacy policy. We do not use your photos or videos to train artificial intelligence models, and we do not publish them without your explicit written consent.
We may refuse to process photos, or suspend an account, if we have reasonable grounds to believe the use violates these terms or the law.
5. AI-generated content
- Clips are created automatically by artificial intelligence models. The result is an artistic interpretation of the photo, not a record of a real event.
- Movements, facial expressions and details in a clip may differ from reality, and distortions or inaccurate details will sometimes appear. That is why every package includes retries.
- We do not guarantee any particular result or any particular level of resemblance to the person in the photo.
- You may not use the videos to create a false impression, to mislead others about an event that took place, or to harm a person's dignity or privacy.
- You may use the video created for you for personal and family purposes, including sharing it on social networks and showing it at private events.
6. Music
Music from the Service's library may be used in your video, including when sharing it on social networks. If you upload a song of your own, you are responsible for making sure you have the right to use it. External platforms may mute or block a video that contains protected music, and we have no control over that.
7. Free trial, packages and payment
- The first clip in every account is provided free of charge and without a credit card. We may limit abuse of the free trial.
- Packages are sold by video length. Each minute includes 12 animated photos and a set number of retries, as shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. In a growing-up video, the first minute includes 13 photos.
- Prices are in New Israeli Shekels (₪) and include VAT. This is a one-time purchase, not a subscription, and there are no recurring charges.
- Payment is made by credit card or PayPal through external payment processors. We do not store your card details.
- An invoice or receipt will be sent to your email address.
- We may change prices from time to time. A change will not apply to a purchase that has already been completed.
8. Refund policy
We want you to be happy. If the video didn't meet your expectations, you can request a full refund within 30 days of the purchase date by writing to hello@lifetimereel.com or on WhatsApp. The refund will be made to the original payment method, usually within 14 business days, subject to the processing times of the credit card company or PayPal.
We may decline a refund request in cases of clear abuse, such as repeated requests after downloading complete videos across several purchases.
This policy does not derogate from any right you have under the Israeli Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, and the regulations made under it, including the provisions on cancelling a distance sale, to the extent they apply.
9. Service availability
We work to keep the Service available and working properly, but we do not guarantee that it will operate without interruptions or faults. Creation times stated on the site are estimates and may vary depending on the load at our generation providers. We recommend downloading the final video and keeping your own copy, especially before an event.
10. Intellectual property
The site, design, trademarks, code, templates and music library of the Service are the property of the Company or of those who have licensed them to it. The video created for you is intended for your personal use as described in section 5. You may not copy, sell or make commercial use of the Service itself or any of its components without written permission.
11. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "AS IS". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company will not be liable for indirect, consequential or special damage arising from use of the Service, and in any case its total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant purchase. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
You are responsible for the photos you upload and for the use you make of the video, and you will indemnify the Company for any third-party claim arising from a breach of your representations in section 4.
12. Ending use and deletion
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account, photos and videos at any time, as described in the privacy policy. Once deleted, the materials cannot be recovered, so it's a good idea to download your video first.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. A material change will be published on the site and, where necessary, sent by email. Continuing to use the Service after the update constitutes agreement to the updated terms. A completed purchase will remain subject to the terms in force when it was made, unless the change is in your favor.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in the Tel Aviv-Yafo district have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any law that gives a consumer the right to apply to a different court.
