Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
At LifetimeReel, we believe everyone should be able to use our service, including people with disabilities. This site was made accessible in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines, at level AA.
What we did to make the site accessible
- The site is available in Hebrew (right to left) and in English (left to right). Each page declares its language and direction, and is built with a clear heading hierarchy and semantic elements.
- You can navigate the whole site and the web app with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus indicator and a "Skip to content" link at the top of every page.
- Every meaningful image has a text alternative, and decorative images are marked so that screen readers skip them.
- All form fields have labels, and error and status messages are announced to screen readers.
- Contrast ratios between text and background meet level AA requirements.
- The site adapts to phones, tablets and computers, and supports browser text zoom up to 200% without loss of content.
- The sample videos are muted, have no speech, and can be paused. You can stop all animations from the accessibility menu.
- The site has an accessibility menu (the ♿ button) with larger text, high contrast, highlighted links, a readable font and a stop-animations option.
Testing
The site was tested with an automated testing tool (axe-core) against WCAG 2.0 level A and AA rules, and manually for keyboard navigation and zoomed display, in Chrome, Safari and Edge.
Known limitations
- The videos the service creates are visual content made from the photos the user uploads, with no speech, so they have no captions.
- Reordering photos by drag and drop is also available through move buttons, which work with a keyboard and a screen reader.
- Third-party content, such as the payment processor's checkout page, is not fully under our control.
